Macedonian word of the day: Slatka (pronounced... SLUT-KA!)

Day 2
Well, where to start:
-there was the 31 degree weather which felt like the desert
-there was the "slutka" conversation; a word a team member learned and started calling others who were instantly offended...only to find out that it meant "cute" or "sweet"
-there was the family who is going to live in one of the units of the building working alongside with us. Vlatko and his wife Elena, his father Nicola and mother Stanka and his little 6 year-old Nicola. What a great and appreciative family
-there were the construction workers who seemed to be pretty appreciative of our work and speed who were telling us to slow down....we are apparently GREAT workers (yeah for us!)
-there were lots of water bottles, an orange snack (see pic above) and icecream on the way home
- we arrived back at the hotel only to see a Ferrari parked in front... hmmm, unusal!
-there was the turtle on the road walking down the street for supper (Chelsea saved him from certain death as a speeding car was coming down the road)
-there was supper at a local restaurant and a drink on an outdoor patio in Negotino. Reality check of a fun night is a boy begging who was so experienced in his trade that he did not leave but insisting that unless he got some "denars" or Michelle's banana, he would stay at our table and stare for 15 minutes
-there were a few more glasses of wine and some great conversation of team members getting to know each other better every single day

A great sunny day with lots of laughs, can't wait for day #3....work followed by a winery tour and dinner.
